What kind of drawing tablet do you use?

    I have a Cintiq 12wx and a recently I got a Cintiq companion 2 to use as I travel

Just watched that Mitsuo Iso video, you just earned a subscriber. The End of Evangelion is my favourite movie and that scene has always really impressed me, I think it's the best fight in the series and probably the best mecha fight ever. Even in the Rebuild movies with ridiculously gorgeous animation they've totally lost what made that EoE scene so good, the feeling of weight is almost completely absent and only got worse as it went on. Suddenly these two-hundred foot tanks can move with more feathery agility than a six foot human ever could.

Great scene, great video. Eva is largely what got me interested in art and animation in the first place, though I'm still not remotely good at either.

Hey thanks man! yeah i found that some of the animators (like Iso) were really able to capture the colossal weight of the evas and others just approached it with the same posing method as any other fight scene. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Oh also if you still can't go frame by frame, my favourite program for video playback is MPC-HC. It's free, open source, lightweight and very versatile with a lot of tools and shortcuts built in. You can go frame by frame of course, you can even toggle the menu bars off so only the video itself is visible for your videos.

If you install the CCCP codec pack as well it'll play any type of video format you throw at it.

Ah yes, when i made this quicktime player was crashing quite a lot so I foolishly used wmp but now quicktime seems to be working better - I think I installed an update - so i will be using that from now on, but I'll keep mpc-hc in mind if it starts to play up again. Thank you!
