That first video you have listed here was especially enlightening, since it relates to one of my biggest worries. I have fellow classmates and some acquaintances that have talked about the supposed death of 2D animation, and even I have been caught up in the paranoia. My skeptic brain has, thankfully, seen the examples that show that it isn't the case (if it were, shows like Gravity Falls and Adventure Time wouldn't exist, and the anime industry wouldn't be a thing, at all). That said, the thought that all of that might just be temporary, what-with 3D animation still steadfast in the industry, has cropped up time and time again, and caused me some worry.
As for your video itself, it definitely helps to clear up the misconceptions I had about 2D animation and its supposed "death."

Hey dude, I'm really glad that my video could give some perspective on the matter. Although i would say that I could be wrong about a lot of what I have said, or the situation could look totally different depending on who you are and where you are from. For instance someone in Japan would probably laugh at the mere thought of the 2d animation industry being in danger.
I highly recommend http://animationanomaly.com/
this guy writes superb articles all about the animation industry and by reading these you will get a much better feel for animation on a global scale. This blog is especially up to date with the internet animation industry which is a huge thing and something that conventional animators seem to be oblivious to.
I think maybe the strongest point to be made is that 2d animation IS extremely effective at certain things. It is more expressive than 3d animation and much more accessible than live action film. It has a timeless quality to it. There is nothing that can replace it in this way. This is my main reason for having hope. thanks for sharing your thoughts

Always love hearing your thoughts and techniques Howard. Thanks for making awesome videos all the time
